ELEPHANT EARS AND TRAGIC MARIE

Riley with big elephant ears...

Here is my entry for
The theme this week is Marie Antoinette and after looking her up to make sure I was spelling her name right I read about her last words.. they say she accidentally stepped on the executioners foot on her way to the guillotine and said " Pardon me, sir" and that's how I came up with my two Marie inchies.

PINK BOTTOM LIP AND LEADERSHIP INCHIE

I love, love, love... when his bottom lip shows....

This is a pendant I made after using this design for a postcard theme the other day, the postcard is here
and the pendant is below and in my Ebay store!
The theme for http://inchybyinch.blogspot.com/ is Leadership, an interesting theme. I used a picture of my favorite president ever. I know politics can be a very dividing topic, but I picked Reagan because of his strength of character. So instead of thinking Rep. or Dem. when looking at these inchie let's think, strong leader that lived and led by example. Thanks!

GIVING UP WORKED - MY CHAIR POSTCARD

I gave up making a chair postcard because nothing was turning out good for a couple of days.. once I put everything away and started looking at art cards in my files something good came back to me and I got all my stuff back out and came up with this.. and I'm so relieved, because I like it. http://sundaypostcardart.wordpress.com/

NOTHING IS WORKING

I've been trying for 3 days to make a postcard for the postcard swap and 2 days trying to make Edgar Allan cards for an ATC swap, I hate everything I've put together and I've just put everything away for the 3rd night in a row. I give up for now. I have to wait for some good juju to settle back in. This is so frustrating.

Silhouette and Rose Themed Inchies

Slim...
Here are 2 inchies for http://www.inchybyinch.blogspot.com/ the theme for this week is roses. The first inchie I paired up Edgar Allan with blood red roses.

This second inchie I thought the orange rose was striking on it's own, so all I did was add a black border and I let the flower speak for itself.

Silver Winter Inchie

I had some more free time!!
This is my entry for the INCH BY INCH Challenge http://www.inchybyinch.blogspot.com/ The theme this week is winter. I used duct tape for a post card last night and the silver seemed perfect to use as the background here too, I added little snowflakes to give it a snowy feel. Thanks for looking!

Bright Eyes and The Man in the Moon

He's trying to look cute so someone will go outside with him..

Here is my entry to the postcard challenge blog, http://sundaypostcardart.wordpress.com/
the theme this week was circles, I had the man in the moon stuck in my head so this is what I came up with! I used duct tape for the background and maybe the second picture shows the little stars better on the background. This was fun!

Sleeping Boy and No Art Work Weekend

It's been quiet here on the creative arts front. I had to finish a total of 30 special order domino pendants this weekend so business took the place of free time for artwork for me, but I hope to jump back in on some of the challenge blogs this week and I have ATC's for swaps that I have to get moving on as well. In the meantime.. here is a sleeping boy, looking so incredibly comfortable it makes me want to go back to bed...
