Riley has always hated/feared water.. but his desire to eat a duck or a swan

is apparently over-riding those previous water problems.

He's now in the water every single morning...

This is part of the reason you haven't seen any artwork from me,

having my kitchen re-done and it's very disruptive and just makes everything that much more difficult. So I haven't really had the time or the drive to make anything exciting, hopefully soon though, I miss having time at my table to join in on challenges and make stationary pages.
As for the kitchen... I had to have this

apron sink, stainless steel. In another 2 weeks it should be all back together.

I can't wait... to cook.. cook and cook some more and I want to make every single thing on

this list..

Here's the boy at one of his favorite places!

I found 3 sunflowers in my garden!!! Consensus is that they

grew from the seeds in my bird food. They are coming up right underneath the feeders..

I think I now have the biggest elephant ears in the

neighborhood!! Maybe the whole town!!

If anyone is interested you can sign up to write letters.. or you can "adopt" a deployed soldier
and send a care package once a month and write a letter to them every week.
